I grew up in the West Indies, on the tiny island of Nevis. I’ve had an interest in art since as far back as I can remember. Growing up, I used every opportunity I had to draw and paint. I taught myself, at an early age, many of the fundamentals of art and design I still use today.
At the age of 19 I created a kid’s magazine called ‘O.U.CH —Outrageously Unbelievable CHildren’ as a way for local schools to raise funds, and for children to show their artwork. At age 20 the magazine led me to the island of Manhattan. I bounced around the New York City area, illustrated a couple books, worked for a magazine, and designed the identities of several brands.
Moved to Kansas City, Missouri in the midst of the madness that has been 2020.
